Teams staffed a resource booth and participated in the walk alongside community members, families, and mental health advocates.

The event brought together organizations committed to supporting individuals and families affected by mental illness while celebrating hope and recovery.

快猫视频 operates two Arizona Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) programs that celebrated together: Yuma ACT and Sierra Vista ACT. Both programs provide multidisciplinary wraparound services to ensure members鈥� success in the community, promote hope and wellness, and prevent unnecessary hospital readmissions. Treatment services are individualized and guided by members鈥� hopes and dreams, following 快猫视频's Recovery-Centered Clinical System (RCCS).

Gladman Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) is a 40-bed Mental Health Rehabilitation Center serving individuals whose psychiatric disabilities require extensive rehabilitation services beyond typical sub-acute settings. The program provides longer-term recovery within a supportive, structured, and secure inpatient environment, offering 24-hour nursing care that helps clients prepare for transition to the community or lower levels of care.

Heritage Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) is a 26-bed facility where treatment is based on the belief that even during the acute phase of illness, all people have the potential to rehabilitate and make choices that support their hopes and dreams. Heritage鈥檚 multidisciplinary team provides assessment, symptom reduction, medication services, discharge planning, and community resources development in an environment where residents have increased control, responsibility, and choice to build relationships and reintegrate into the community.

San Joaquin MCRT is a new program in the heart of Stockton, CA.

快猫视频 has partnered withto deliver non-law enforcement crisis intervention services to residents of San Joaquin County.

The San Joaquin Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) brings rapid crisis support to people in the community delivered by a dedicated team of mental health professionals with law enforcement involvement only where necessary.

The San Joaquin MCRT delivers much-needed crisis care in San Joaquin County 鈥� in a safe, accessible, and compassionate way. We help people get the support they need, reduce stigma and fear, and help prevent and reduce unnecessary law enforcement involvement, ER visits, and hospitalizations.

On October 9, 2025, community partners gathered in San Diego鈥檚 Midway District to celebrate the grand opening of , a new affordable housing community designed for veterans, transitional-age youth, and individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

快猫视频 has been selected to provide behavioral health services at  and maintains a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, housing coordinators, case management, and peer staff on-site to offer housing stabilization focused services, and connections to community resources. Services are available six days a week and include both light and clinical case management focused on housing stability, as well as linkages to behavioral health, primary care, and other social service supports. Participation in 快猫视频鈥檚 services is voluntary for all tenants and emphasizes independent living skill building, community integration and overall health, wellness and housing stability through close collaboration with on-site property management, the , and . 快猫视频 provides similar supportive housing services at numerous locations across California.

Pacific Village was made possible through a collaborative partnership among the , the , and the , with more than $16 million in  from the State of California. The County also contributed $5.9 million in capital funding and an additional $5 million over five years to support behavioral health services鈥攊ncluding housing stability assistance, transportation, community resource referrals, and clinical case management for crisis intervention and care coordination.

Once a hotel on Midway Drive, the property has been transformed into 62 fully furnished studio apartments. Each home now features a kitchenette, and the site includes new fire safety systems, security cameras, perimeter fencing, updated plumbing fixtures, rooftop solar panels, accessibility upgrades, and new interior and exterior finishes.

Residents also have access to shared amenities such as a pet area, picnic space, bike racks, and laundry room. The community鈥檚 central location places it in walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores, retail shops, pharmacies, and public transportation.

鈥淲hen we prioritize affordable housing and combine it with crucial supportive services, we are improving health outcomes and creating opportunities for residents to thrive,鈥� said Kimberly Giardina, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for the County鈥檚 Health and Human Services Agency. 鈥淚t takes all of us coming together to get people into safe and stable housing.鈥�

For residents moving into their new homes, this transition often represents a significant turning point. Many have spent months or years in shelters, cars, or on the streets and settling into a permanent home takes time, trust, and support.

In just the short time since move-ins began at Pacific Village, the results have already been inspiring. One resident, a skilled carpenter and construction worker, shared that his life was upended after a serious freeway accident left him in a coma for a week. Unable to return to work, he lost his income, his home, and eventually entered a local shelter. There, he began a journey of sobriety and recovery鈥攚orking with case managers who later connected him to the San Diego Housing Commission and, ultimately, Pacific Village. 

鈥淚 feel like I have another shot at life,鈥� he shared. For the first time in years, he said he feels safe, stable, and hopeful. He now meets regularly with 快猫视频 staff who provide care coordination and recovery support. His story is one of many that highlight how safe housing and supportive services together create the foundation for lasting change.

The multidisciplinary team includes licensed clinicians, nurse practitioners, and case managers who provide comprehensive support. "Last week, I traveled to Oregon for a moment I've been looking forward to for a long time鈥攖he renaming of our Gresham program to the Steve Wilson Recovery Center, celebrating both 快猫视频's 60th anniversary and the legacy of someone whose vision shaped so much of what we do.

Steve Wilson wasn't just our Medical Director鈥攈e was a visionary who fundamentally changed how we think about recovery in mental health care. Growing up, my father founded an innovative psychiatric hospital in the 1960s, and mental health was a constant topic at our dinner table. I learned early on that recovery wasn't just possible鈥攊t was the whole point.

Steve Wilson, along with Stacey Calhoun, David Heffron, Joan Meisel and many other 快猫视频 collaborators, took that belief and built something extraordinary: our Recovery Centered Clinical System, a framework that puts hope, dignity, and individual choice at the center of care.

What strikes me most about Steve's work is the timing. He helped develop this approach when institutionalization was still the norm鈥攚hen many believed people with serious mental illness couldn't recover. He proved them wrong. He built an approach where staff are fully invested in each person's journey, where treatment honors individual goals, and where people are met exactly where they are with compassion and respect.

There's a reason our logo is a tree鈥攊t represents growth, deep roots, and the kind of adaptive strength that recovery requires. In these challenging times, when we're seeing some movements back toward institutionalization, Steve's vision feels more important than ever. Recovery isn't just our history鈥攊t's our North Star. It's the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to shape their own life, to have real choices, and to pursue their own hopes and dreams.

It is also incredibly exciting to see the ways our current program leaders are building on this foundation with our Chief Medical Director, Kent Eller, MD; by incorporating new measures of effectiveness, integrated substance use treatment, and robust training to enhance engagement.

I'm grateful to Oregon's First Lady, Aimee Kotek Wilson, for joining us, and to the devoted teams who live these values every single day. Standing in that building, surrounded by staff and community partners who carry forward Steve's legacy, I felt deeply proud of the path we're on. And I am optimistic about the next chapter of the Steve Wilson Recovery Center, and our innovative public/private partnership in the great state of Oregon.鈥�

As we celebrate 快猫视频鈥檚 60th year, we want to spotlight some of the things that make 快猫视频 special. The most important people at 快猫视频 are those we serve, who are our reason for existence. From them, we learn about resilience, recovery, hope, joy, and the power within us all to follow our dreams and create the lives we want to live.

Today鈥檚 Spotlight: Isaiah G., Beck Lane Resident

When Isaiah first arrived at 快猫视频 Beck Lane Community Crisis Home (CCH), he often shared with staff that he was feeling 鈥渓ost and lonely, bruised and broken.鈥� Over the past year, his transformation has been remarkable. He鈥檚 become more joyful with other residents and supportive of them when they struggle. Isaiah is now embracing a positive future for himself by attending adult school to obtain his high school diploma, with a short-term goal of working with neglected dogs and cats at the local animal shelter.

One of the most powerful expressions of his growth is 鈥淪treat Vibes - Graffiti Coloring Book,鈥� which Isaiah created to share with other residents. He shared with staff: 鈥淚 wanted to make and share this coloring book with other residents, to give them some hope...and have a better life, through my artwork."

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. Isaiah鈥檚 progress reflects his strength and the compassionate, healing environment created together at Beck Lane. For 60 years, 快猫视频's legacy has been shaped by stories of hope, perseverance, and transformation.

Today, we want to highlight Julie Hodges, administrator at Willow Rock Psychiatric Health Facility, who has dedicated 30 years to 快猫视频.

Congratulations on 30 years of exemplary service, Julie! Thank you for your commitment to adolescent mental health.

What Julie Has to Say:

鈥淚 started my career 30 years ago at Villa Fairmont as a newly registered nurse, working on call. I was given the opportunity to become the night shift supervisor three months later, and at that time, I could see the potential for long-term growth within the company. I worked with many amazing people at Villa Fairmont who served as amazing mentors for me, which I believe laid an amazing foundation for my professional career. A few of these people were Mary Ann Broker, Pansy Taft Butkowski, PJ Overholt, Mary Suilman, and Harvey Segalove鈥�all 快猫视频 heroes!

When my daughter, Taylor, was two years old and my son, Dominic, was a few months old, I received a call from Kate Jones about an opportunity to serve as the director of nursing at our newly opened psychiatric facility for youth, called Willow Rock. I was performing well with my current job, but something about this opportunity told me to come back to my roots and calling, helping those with mental health challenges. I took the challenge along with the call to be an administrator in 2020, right before the pandemic rolled in鈥攚hat an adventure that was!

Eighteen years after starting at Willow Rock, I am still here, learning, growing, and trying to make a difference in the lives of young people. More importantly, I am trying to be a good leader and develop others to lead and serve, particularly the most vulnerable of populations, youth in psychiatric crisis, aged 12-18.

I stay at 快猫视频 because I love the people I work with, and I enjoy the challenges of improving care systems and developing individuals who share my passion for making a positive impact. 快猫视频 has stayed with me through aging and ill parents, raising Dominic and Taylor (now 18 and 20 and thriving), a few career paths, and constant navigation through an acute adolescent inpatient facility.

What Made Julie鈥檚 Time at 快猫视频 So Special:

Julie started at Villa Fairmont as a new graduate registered nurse and quickly advanced to night shift supervisor within three months. After working in pharmaceutical sales, she returned to 快猫视频 as director of nursing at Willow Rock, eventually becoming administrator. She stepped into the leadership role in 2020, just before the pandemic, and has spent 18 years at Willow Rock, dedicated to serving youth in psychiatric crisis and developing staff to lead with compassion.

The Sonoma Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program provides support to help individuals improve their well-being and achieve their goals. Believing that recovery is possible with the right plan, a dedicated team of peer specialists, service coordinators, and social workers creates an environment of resilience and hope. Upon arrival, a diverse clinical team conducts personalized assessments and collaborates with each individual throughout their journey.

With a team of clinicians, psychiatric prescribers, nursing staff, and recovery specialists, the program focuses on decision-making skills and harm reduction in a safe environment. Young clients receive immediate, personalized support to stabilize symptoms and connect with community resources.

快猫视频 operates multiple programs serving Kern County:

Kern Adult PHF provides intensive mental health treatment in a secure 16-bed facility for adults experiencing mental health emergencies, emphasizing choice-making and harm-reduction techniques.

Ridgecrest Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) provides immediate crisis support through a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, psychiatric prescribers, nursing staff, and peer specialists, helping individuals stabilize symptoms and avoid the need for higher levels of care.

Bakersfield Recovery Station offers a voluntary 10-client program serving as a law enforcement diversion, providing screening and care linkage for individuals with co-occurring mental illness and substance use needs.

Kern CARE Court ACT provides community-based, holistic support to individuals who meet CARE criteria, connecting them to resources that enable them to thrive in their community.

Event Activities/Highlights

The Recovery Center at Sarpy is a 24-hour mental health program that helps individuals envision their recovery, develop essential skills, and regain hope. This trauma-informed program offers comprehensive community support services to stabilize symptoms and enhance independent living skills. Recovery is integral to every aspect, including assessments, interventions, staff selection, and client experience.

Event Activities/Highlights

• Celebrated 快猫视频's 60th anniversary with festive decorations throughout the dining room area.

• Staff and residents enjoyed outdoor games, including cornhole for friendly competition and fun.

• The celebration featured catered BBQ, bringing everyone together for delicious food and community bonding.

• Regional leadership Lisa Hecker and Chanel McNabb joined the celebration, making the day even more special.

• Staff and residents had a blast celebrating this milestone together!

快猫视频's Kern County programs participated in the annual NAMI Walk to support mental health awareness and advocacy, earning the Most Creative Booth Award for their energetic and creative presentation.

Planned by the (NAMI), these walks aim to bring communities together to celebrate recovery and reduce the stigma around mental health challenges. Kern County programs connected with other organizations and community members who share a commitment to supporting mental health.
